Terms of use for Vozix

Last updated: 1 November 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Focelix AS (org. no. 815 487 052), which develops and publishes Vozix. You accept the terms when you start using the app. How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy.

2. What Vozix is

Vozix is a photo app for Android. You take photos and videos, add keywords and descriptions, and find your photos again with search, folders and the map. You can record trips as tracks and make films of them. Everything is stored on your phone. Vozix has no account and no cloud storage of its own.

3. Free and PRO

Vozix is free to download and use. In the free version you can organise up to 250 photos and videos, meaning you give them keywords or a description, put them in a folder or change their location. The limit is a total, so if you delete an organised photo, you do not get the slot back. Photos that are already organised can always be viewed and edited. You will be told before you reach the limit.

Vozix PRO is a subscription that removes the limit and adds more features, such as Secure Folder. What PRO includes is shown on the PRO page in the app.

PRO also includes a custom theme and adding a location to photos that have none.

4. Your content

5. Take care of your data

Everything is stored only on your phone, and we have no copy. If you lose your phone or uninstall the app, we cannot recover your data. Make backups regularly. You do this under Settings → Backup.

6. Secure Folder and password

7. Google Maps and other services

8. Updates and changes

9. Errors and liability

10. Ending use

You can stop using Vozix at any time by uninstalling the app. If you have PRO, you must cancel the subscription in Google Play. Uninstalling alone does not stop the subscription.

11. Governing law and complaints

Norwegian law applies. If you disagree with us, contact us so we can find a solution. If we cannot agree, you can get help from the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet, www.forbrukerradet.no), and the case can be brought before the Norwegian Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget). You can also go to the ordinary courts where you live. If you live in another country, you also keep the mandatory consumer rights you have there.
